Not so fast...So the New Orleans Saints signed Mark Ingram’s replacement before Ingram was officially signed on to another team. Latavius Murray comes to the Saints on a four-year deal, with only the first two seasons containing guaranteed money. Murray is set to make approximately $3.6 million per year on average, which seemed like a steal at the time. Then Mark Ingram signed with the Baltimore Ravens.Ingram signs with Baltimore on a three-year deal at a $5 million per year average, after initial reports indicated Ingram was seeking $8 million per year. While we don’t know the details of the guaranteed money, on just average salary per year alone, Ingram would have only cost the Saints $1.4 million more per year. But money isn’t everything. So that begs the question: who would you rather the Saints have for 2019 and beyond?
