The Eagles have been putting in work lately to secure some of the team veterans — Jason Peters Youth Andre Dillard Jersey , Brandon Graham — and have even brought back a few familiar faces including DeSean Jackson and, most recently, Vinny Curry. More than the team wanting to lock in these guys is the fact that they all (except Jackson who was traded) chose to come back to the Philadelphia locker room. There’s been plenty of time since the locker room saga of the Chip Kelly era, and with a Super Bowl to claim since, it’s all way back in the rearview. But it’s easy to forget that the locker room culture at the time was considered toxic, and was much more difficult to get guys to want to stay, much less take lower deals than they would get elsewhere. Now, you’ve got players the past couple seasons seeking out an Eagles roster spot to play with Carson Wentz Cheap Andre Dillard Jersey , and Vinny Curry willing to take a lesser contract to get back to Philly despite several other options on the table. In Curry’s teleconference with the media after signing his new deal, he talked about the importance on getting back to his brothers.Doug Pederson, along with Howie Roseman, has stressed how important the locker room culture is and being sure to sign guys to the team that fit in and boost that morale. It’s not been just a talking point, but something that’s been a main focus in the moves they’ve made since he was hired in 2016.All that work to revitalize the culture has worked, and has created an environment that draws top-tier talent and encourages players to stay as long as possible. The team and it’s owner Jeffery Lurie also don’t shy away from allowing the players to express their beliefs and encourages them to use their platform in positive ways. They’ve since been involved in numerous initiatives throughout the city and country, and are making an impact that not all teams would support.By re-signing Vinny Curry and DeSean Jackson, Howie also continues to show the organization’s focus on keeping players they’ve drafted on the roster. Sure Andre Dillard Philadelphia Eagles Jerseys , there’s been a bit of a gap, but bringing two guys who repeatedly called Philly “home” goes a long way in them already buying into the team and the city — and certainly not least, the love and passion of the fans. We’ve come a long way in just a short three seasons under Pederson, and as we head into Year 4, things continue to look up. The Eagles haven’t even hit their peak yet, and continue to make moves that strengthen the locker room culture, which strengthens the bond and chemistry on the field. And we all saw what chemistry can lead to in 2017. And the latest results from BGN’s polling shows that Philadelphia Eagles are already feeling VERY optimistic about 2019.The Eagles’ confidence rating checks in at 95%, which is tied for sixth best among SB Nation’s NFL team sites. Only the Rams, Bears (pre-Jordan Howard trade though), Saints, and Colts rank higher.A big reason why Eagles fans are feeling so confident is because they’ve liked how the team’s offseason has gone to this point. FanPulse data reveals 96% of voters believe the Eagles got better in NFL free agency. That’s certainly a fair way to feel after Philly added the likes of DeSean Jackson Andre Dillard Jersey Color Rush , Malik Jackson, etc. This number might be even higher if the polling took place after the Howard trade. So, just how good do Eagles fans think the team will be in 2019? Well, just consider that 100% of voters took the over on 9.5 wins for Philadelphia this year. Kinda crazy that not even one doubter was in the midst. Double digit wins is the clear exception. It’s not surprising to see Eagles fans feeling so good about the direction of the team. Philly arguably has one of the best head coach, quarterback, and personnel executive triumvirates in the NFL. It also doesn’t hurt that it’s the offseason and it’s easy to be optimistic because there’s no real shit that can hit the fan like there is in the regular season. Just as there are things to look forward to this year, there are also things to be concerned about. Carson Wentz’s health and performance is obviously going to be critical to this team’s success. The Eagles are relying on some older players to contribute for them. Some positions on the roster could afford to be upgraded. And so on.Ultimately, though Cheap Andre Dillard Jersey , the excitement clearly outweighs the skepticism right now. Count me among those really looking forward this upcoming season. Unlike last year, it truly feels like an entirely new campaign. Looking back, 2018 felt like a continuation of the 2017 season. All the talk was about the pressure on the Eagles defending their title as reigning Super Bowl champions. It felt like the offseason didn’t last long enough as multiple players entered the season recovering from injury. Now the slate has been wiped clean and the Eagles don’t have to worry about being THE target around the league. That’s not to say they’re exactly flying under the radar ... but it’s still different than 2018. With Wentz having a full offseason to prepare for 2019 and the Eagles doing their best to build a contender around him, it’s fun to think about what could be in store this year. ...Once again, sign up HERE to join FanPulse.
