Pelissero discussed Lovett on the air about a week ago as well:Interestingly, Lovett is a two-time Ivy League player of the year, winning the award in 2016 and 2018. He also was named an FCS first-team All-American in both of those seasons.A dual-threat quarterback for the Tigers, Lovett passed for 1 Kenny Clark Jersey ,833 yards and 18 touchdowns as a senior while adding 894 yards and 13 more scores on the ground. Pelissero referred to him as “a blocking Taysom Hill,” suggesting that he would bring similar versatility to an NFL roster. The Packers do already have a fullback on the roster in Danny Vitale, but Lovett could be an intriguing option as an undrafted free agent to come in and compete for a role on special teams and as an intriguing chess piece for Matt LaFleur.
