for Denver Broncos legend Steve Atwater to finally be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Our 27-in-27 series continues with a career accomplishment that seems like it would be a slam dunk for getting a bust in Canton. Andrew Mason brought it up when he and Ryan Edwards joined Ian St. Clair and me on the MHR Radio Podcast.Atwater is one of 22 players on the First Team 1990s All-Decade Team. This is an accomplishment that should make a player an obvious selection for the Hall of Fame. But astonishingly (or not) Domata Peko Jersey , of the 22 players on the All-Decade team, only two have yet to be in Canton — Atwater, and fellow safety LeRoy Butler. What appears to be a no-brainer has apparently stumped the voters. As Mase said on the podcast, it just shows how unappreciated the safety position is by the voters. Atwater is considered to be the best safety of an entire decade, but can’t get into the Pro Football Hall of Fame? This would be the perfect year to rectify this problem. When Kenny Easley was inducted in the Hall of Fame in 2017, he made a plea for more safeties to be included, and Atwater was at the top of that list. Perhaps, this will be the year the voters listen. The Broncos and The Masters? Both are a tradition unlike any otherGood morning Menelik Watson Jersey , Broncos Country! The Masters really is a tradition unlike any other. Despite the quarter century I have watched the tournament, I had no idea what to expect when I got word I had “won” the ticket lottery. My wife and I got tickets for the first day of action on Thursday at Augusta National, and the night before was like being a kid before the first day of school.I was nervous. I was amped. I was emotional. Then you see the beauty with your own eyes. Then you walk up on Amen Corner as the sun starts to peek out over the horizon and the emotion hits you. In the simplest of terms — it’s Heaven. So what does this have to do with the Denver Broncos? As I told Adam Malnati on the MHR Radio Podcast (iTunes, Spotify and Stitcher), throughout my trip in Georgia, which spanned from Atlanta to Savannah, I was surprised by the sheer amount of people who stopped and started a conversation with me over my old school “D” Broncos hat. It happened when we got to the rental car counter at the Atlanta airport and it didn’t stop over the course of the trip. To tie it all together, it happened at The Masters ... multiple times over the course of the day. Only this time in my bucket hat — hey, I needed to keep cool. From patrons to workers, when they saw the “D” logo, they couldn’t help but offer a friendly comment about the team. Many were hopeful the team can turn it around and start winning again. It made my travel experience a little more personal. Plus, I love talking about the Broncos. The Masters truly is a tradition unlike any other. So too is the love of the old school Broncos “D” logo.
