Houston Texans Injury News: J.J. Watt Passed Conditioning Test Sammie Coates Jersey White , Ready For Training Camp Christmas is right around the corner, and because we were all so good this summer, we are already being spoiled with good news. J.J. Wattt is healthy again. According to Adam Schefter, who tweeted according to Chris Mortensen, the Texans’ defensive end passed his conditioning test with flying colors on Monday and is ready to practice when training camp opens this week. This news is especially welcome after the last two dour seasons where Watt played three games after undergoing back surgery in July of 2016 Jadeveon Clowney Jersey , only to have another surgical procedure on his back that ended his 2016 season, and then played five games in 2017 before breaking his leg. So, yeah, I hope Watt is ready to play a full season in 2018, because I’m ready to watch him play a full season. Not only have the Texans been worse without him Greg Mancz Jersey White , but football has also been a less enjoyable affair generally without him. Losing two prime seasons from one of the greatest players of all time is more than a travesty. It’s a tragedy. For his part, Watt responded to Schefter’s tweet and tempered the future to remain in the present. In case you were wondering, this is what phenomenal looks like. Sheesh. Maybe you heard the news yesterday. If you didn’t, SB Nation created some sort of podcast conglomerate. Rather than continue with the Babe Ruth Blog Talk Radio format, we decided to hop along and be good peasants. With it come a few slight changes to the show. There are ads during the show so I can buy one kombucha and one hunk of cheese a week. The show will no longer be recorded LIVE Joel Heath Jersey , but we will still have posts on Tuesday night for listener questions. The sound quality will be noticeably better. I have to actually learn how to do things instead of just calling BFD and telling him how much I miss Brandon Brooks for an hour and every Tuesday Night. I’m an audio engineer now. And SB Nation will try to add another host to the feed so they can squeeze out four episodes a week for you, the listener. If you’re interested in joining, please reach out and include a link to your audio work. If I can do it, anyone can. Alright. Enough of that. This show isn’t a review show. It’s a preview show for Week Five. For this episode, my friend Taylor and I talk about the Texas-Texas-Texas-Texas Bowl D.J. Reader Jersey White , Jacksonville fighting for football’s soul against Kansas City, last year’s NFC Championship Game, and Monday Night Football between the Redskins and Saints.
