Now there is reason to worry.Shortly into practice, Gabe Jackson pulled up limp and was unable to put weight on one of his legs and would ultimately need to be carted off the field. Carts taking people off the practice field is always a big concern. When it happens to a crucial starter, that concern is heightened.“We’re concerned, obviously. Really concerned about it,” said Jon Gruden. “We’ll get more information here so we can be specific for you. I don’t want to speculate.”It was difficult to tell exactly how the injury occurred, but Gruden said Jackson “got rolled up on” which is all too common with offensive linemen.Jackson had been in a heated battle in practice Thursday with Aaron Donald which resulted in a scuffle in pass protection drills and some extracurricular shoving when they faced off again in team sessions.When Jackson came out, he was replaced by Denver Kirkland and Jordan Devey.
