Titans linebacker Harold Landry III flashes a knowing smile when asked how he sets up an offensive tackle before attacking with one of his pass rush moves.Landry is not about to spill secrets to his success. The second-year linebacker is piling up the sacks with a career-best eight already. He has had at least one in four straight games as Tennessee prepares to visit Indianapolis on Sunday.“I don’t really want to say too much about that Peyton Manning Jersey ,” Landry said. “It is what it is. Guys just got to watch the film. I mean you don’t want to go out there and do your move right away. You try to get a feel for the game. You see it on film too. It all depends on what type of offensive tackle you’re going against. Some guys certain moves work on, certain guys that won’t work.”Landry is tied for 12th in the NFL with a team-high eight sacks, quadrupling by himself the two sacks Tennessee’s starting linebackers managed together last season. Landry also has 16 quarterback pressures, four tackles for loss and an interception.Being in the NFL for a second season certainly has helped Landry show just how much more comfortable he is.“As you become more comfortable in your job, just like Harold) is, the confidence grows and ... gives you the opportunity to maybe be a little bit more aggressive,” titans coach Mke Vrabel said. “Knowing that if you make a mistake, it allows you to kind of take a few chances Darius Leonard Jersey , and that’s what he’s done.”Landry had been projected as a possible first-round pick for 2018 after a career-high 16 ½ sacks at Boston College in 2016, then an ankle injury limited him to five sacks and only eight games in his final season. The Titans traded up to No. 41 overall to draft the linebacker in the second round. The 6-foot-2, 252-pound linebacker started three of 15 games as a rookie and finished with 4 ½ sacks. Then Landry, who ran the 40-yard dash in 4.64 seconds at the NFL combine, spent the offseason working to add more pass rush options beyond just his speed and ability to bend around offensive tackles on his way to quarterbacks.“I think I’m way more developed with the use of my hands,” Landry said. “I think last year I just relied on one move, and that was just speed. This year I think I’m using my hands more active in my rush, using different moves Malik Hooker Jersey White , and I think that’s definitely helped me out this year.”Defensive coordinator Dean Pees says Landry has worked hard to diversify his pass rush moves beyond being just a speed rusher. He also credited outside linebackers coach Shane Bowen and Vrabel for working individually with Landry on his pass rush.“I think it’s showing dividends,” Pees said.Landry still can show off his speed. His last sack came on his first drive last week, racing around to sack Nick Foles for an 8-yard loss taking the Jaguars out of field goal range in a 42-20 loss. The Titans will be leaning more heavily on Landry with veteran linebacker Cameron Wake now out for the season after being placed on injured reserve Tuesday. Landry has two sacks in three games against the Colts, including a sack and a recovered fumble in Tennessee’s 19-17 loss to Indy in Week 2.Colts coach Frank Reich said Wednesday he’s been spending 95 percent of his time prepping for the Tennessee defense, and he’s been impressed by Landry.“He’s doing phenomenal,” Reich said. “You got his strength and speed putting on at that level he’s just being very effective, and you can just tell he’s an instinctive player. So instinctive players you can put them anywhere and they know how to make plays.”NOTES: Titans RB Derrick Henry left the open portion of practice Wednesday and was limited by a hamstring. CB Adoree’ Jackson (calf), DL DaQuan Jones (ribs) Womens Peyton Manning Jersey , S Dane Cruikshank (ankle), DB Joshua Kalu (ankle) and WR Tajae Sharpe (hamstring) also were limited as the Titans practiced inside. LB Reggie Gilbert (knee) and CB LeShaun Sims (right ankle) did not practice. Every week, Colts fans and Stampede Blue readers can submit their Colts questions to have a chance of them being answered in our weekly Q&A.Missed out this week? Don’t worry, you can get involved next time by submitting a question when the Q&A post goes up in the comments section, in the Twitter replies or on the Facebook post comments.Let’s jump straight into this week’s questions:Clydesdales (Stampede Blue Comments): How much of the play book do suppose we have seen? I’m not suggesting it was cut back for Brissett, but between Luck barely practicing last year and starting a new guy this year, it sort of feels like there is a section or two missing from some of the imagination plays we saw with Reich in Philly. Not necessarily trick plays, but more like getting the RB in space against a LB in particular.Answer: The Colts have shown different looks on offense and have had a few trick plays too. No team will show all of their playbook half way through the year as they will use a selection of plays more than once each week. Although Brissett wasn’t the numebr one quaterback this past offseason he did take the majority of snaps as QB1 as look was limited and also unable to practice most of the offseason. Also the plays you may have seen in Philidephia from there offense may not have been from Reich Womens Malik Hooker Jersey , yes he was the teams offensive coordinator but he did not call plays. Reich did obviously have an influence on the offense but it is still unknown how much. Reich is an elite offensive mastermind and have no doubt he has imaginative plays up his sleeve. Sean Stu Art (Stampede Blue Comments): At almost the midway point what position do you think will get addressed in round 1 and by what player? I see a lot of DT or DE like the kid from South Carolina or Penn St.Answer: At the midway point in the season the top team needs are looking like defensive tackle, wide receiver and defensive end. In round 1 it does always depend on what happens before the Colts pick and how the board stacks up. Of those positions (DT, DE and WR) I would lean towards defensive tackle more first, followed by wide receiver. The top defensive tackle prospects at the moment are Derrick Brown (Auburn), Javon Kinlaw (South Carolina), Raekwon Davis (Alabama) and Neville Gallimore (Oklahoma) who could all be taken in the first round. The top wide receiver prospects at the moment are Jerry Jeudy (Alabama) but he will probably go top 5, Tee Higgins (Clemson), CeeDee Lamb (Oklahoma) Andrew Luck Jersey White , Henry Ruggs III (Albama) and Laviska Shenault (Colorado).BigBlueIowaFan (Stampede Blue Comments): With Glow having a rough year, any chance the Colts draft a tackle in the 1st round and move Smith back to guard?Answer: Glowinski has had a bit of a rough year, he’s not been as dominant or as consistent as he was last year. He has been called for 4 penalties and allowed 20 total pressures with 2 sacks and 7 QB hits. Whereas last year he was called for 6 penalties all year and only allowed 11 pressures with no sacks and 1 QB hit. Braden Smith has been brilliant since being thrust into the starting line up at right tackle. He does have his limitations but he is developing great at right tackle and I think the Colts believe he is their RT for now and the future. Does this mean they won’t kick him inside to the position he was dominant at in college, no but i do believe they are more than happy with him at RT. It would be more likely for them to draft a tackle with the idea of replacing Anthony Castonzo long term or a guard to out and out replace Glowinski. ColtsSupaBowlas (Stampede Blue Comments): Should the Colts pick up Josh Gordon if they lose Sunday’s game and the other receivers besides TY are a no show again? Answer: The Colts need help at wide receiver. Outside of T.Y. Hilton and the odd flash by Zach Pascal, the receivers have been poor. Josh Gordon would come in and potentially be the teams WR2 staight away but I do not think the Colts will pick up Gordon. The Colts will likely instead lean on Parris Campbell and Deon Cain more and don’t forget Devin Funchess is not far off from returning and will help straight away. The team really does need to upgrade the position in the offseason though. 62chas62 (Twitter): Given the uncertainty of the extra point lately and the coaches willingness to go for it on fourth down why not go for two points every time?Answer: The Colts have faith in Adam Vinatieri and will continue to take the PAT over going for it for two points, unless two points is needed. It’s understandable to have questions of Vinatieri as he has been less than reliable this season but he’s still dependable enough otherwise the team would move on from him first before going for two points every time.
