NEW YORK -- The New York Yankees are bringing back Larry Rothschild for his seventh season as pitching coach.The Yankees said Friday that Rothschild has a one-year contract for 2017. On Wednesday, general manager Brian Cashman said working out a deal with Rothschild was on his to-do list.The 62-year-old Rothschild will be entering his 43rd season in pro ball as a player, coach or manager.
