The Patriots have signed free agent receiver Eric Decker in hopes of adding depth to their receiving corps.
The eight-year NFL veteran signed with New England on Friday after working out for the team this week. The Patriots are looking to give quarterback Tom Brady more options following Julian Edelman’s four-game suspension for violating the NFL policy on performance enhancers Richard Sherman Jersey , the free agency departure of Danny Amendola and trade of Brandin Cooks.
Decker, the husband of singer Jessie James, joins his fourth NFL team. A third-round pick in the 2010 draft by Denver Cordrea Tankersley Jersey , the 31-year-old spent four seasons with the Broncos, three with the Jets and last season with the Titans.
He caught 54 passes for 563 yards and touchdown for Tennessee in 2017. He’s appeared in 111 games in his career with 83 starts, amassing 5 Kenneth Dixon Jersey ,816 receiving yards and 53 touchdowns.

Former North Carolina defensive tackle Dee Hardison, a member of the North Carolina Sports Hall of Fame who played 11 seasons in the National Football League, has died. He was 61.
Tim Butler of Butler & Son Funeral Home in Clinton confirmed that Hardison died on Saturday at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill Jason Spriggs Jersey , where he had been hospitalized for several weeks.
Hardison was named to The Associated Press all-America first team in 1977. He was co-captain of the 1977 team that went 8-3-1, won the Atlantic Coast Conference title and finished ranked 17th after losing to Nebraska, 21-17 Jalyn Holmes Jersey , in the Liberty Bowl.
Hardison was a second-round draft pick of the Buffalo Bills in 1978 and played there for three seasons. He spent five seasons with the New York Giants, two with the San Diego Chargers and a year with the Kansas City Chiefs before retiring after the 1989 season.
