ISLAMABAD, Aug. 9 (Xinhua) -- A roadside bomb blast killed at least two Pakistan security personnel in the Bajaur tribal region on Tuesday, the military said.
The outlawed Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan claimed responsibility.
"Two soldiers Mushtaq and Khurshid embraced shahdat (martyrdom) in an Improvised Explosive Device attack in Bajaur today,"the army's Inter-Services Public Relations said.
Taliban spokesman Muhammad Khorasani said the group carried out the attack through a planted device.
The TTP had once used Bajaur that borders Afghanistan as one of their strong bases, however, the security forces cleared the areas of the militants in major operation in 2008-2009.
Officials said some Taliban have crossed the border into Afghanistan and launched the attacks from there.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has strongly condemned the IED attack on security personnel in Bajaur Agency.
"These cowardly attacks show that terrorists are on retreat, these terrorists are using such tactics because they cannot sustain the wrath of our valiant forces who always lead from the front,"Sharif said in a statement.
The prime minister expressed deep grief and sorrow over the loss of two precious lives in the attack. He prayed for eternal peace of the departed souls and grant of courage to the bereaved families to bear the irreparable loss. Enditem

On Sunday, the city's housing and urban-rural development authorities investigated over 2,000 construction sites and 62 sites that did not meet the standards required to improve their pollution controls.
The city's transport authorities punished 3,078 cases of illegal operation of trucks carrying construction materials, and 1 Nike Air Max 2018 Sale Outlet ,556 high-emission vehicles planning to enter Beijing were convinced to return back.
Beijing Municipal Environmental Monitoring Center said the capital will see pollution peak on Monday, and air quality is expected to improve from Tuesday night under the influence of a cold front.
Last week, the Ministry of Environmental Protection (MEP) forecast that Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei and their neighboring regions would see slight to severe air pollution from Nov. 4 to 8.
An orange alert Nike Air Max Sale Outlet , the second highest level for air pollution, was enacted on Nov. 4 simultaneously in Beijing and Tianjin, and some cities in Hebei, Shanxi, Shandong and Henan provinces.

China has channeled more work into improving air quality in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei area by measures such as replacing dirtier coal use and penalizing polluters.
Inspection teams have been dispatched to cities identified as sources of pollution and companies in breach of emission rules, according to the MEP.
In 2017, Beijing plans to decrease coal use by helping residents at 700 villages adopt clean energy, removing 300,000 vehicles from roads Air Max 2017 Sale Outlet , and shutting down 500 factories.
