SAN FRANCISCO， June 1 (Xinhua) -- Two officers were wounded on Wednesday in a police-involved shooting in Fremont， a city south of San Francisco， Northern California.


Local radio and TV reports said police were investigating the incident in Fremont's Irvington area， and a Safeway grocery store was on lockdown and neighboring streets were barricaded.
