San Francisco 49ers running back Jerick McKinnon will miss the

entire season after tearing the ACL in his right knee on the final play of practice Saturday.McKinnon took part in his first day of team drills since injuring his right calf Aug. 9 before going down with a much more significant injury."He made a cut on air Authentic K'Waun Williams jersey , no one was around him," coach Kyle Shanahan said before the MRI determined the severity of the injury. On Friday, we got an update on the situation from Matt Maiocco. The tear was apparently “pretty clean.”This is of note because it means he is looking at the most traditional of ACL rehabs. He did not tear any other ligaments, and there are no other issues for the time being.
