The study also showed that salaries and body weight of men and women were completely opposite. Compared with women of medium stature, the annual income of the thinner ones of 25 less pounds (about 11.4 kilograms) weight would got $ 15,572 more on average while who of 25 more pounds were paid with less $ 13,847 relatively.


The study pointed out that although the employers should review their bias on their employees’ weight, but this phenomenon might also be related to the fact that "staff with ideal body stature might have better performance than others".
