This week in recruiting is a collection of thoughts and things of interest from me as a recruiting expert that either didn’t rise to the level of being their own story Authentic Keanu Neal Jersey , or for which I did not have time to make into a story this week.Of interestThis week was notable for the commitments of two elite running backs. John Emery Jr., of Destrehan (La.), committed to LSU. He is a bona fide 5-star recruit. Emery was at one point committed to Georgia Authentic Vic Beasley Jersey , but decommitted shortly after LSU beat Georgia by three scores in October. LSU now has commitments from the vast majority of the best players in the state. In turn, Georgia gained a commitment from Kenny McIntosh, of Ft. Lauderdale (Fla.) University School. McIntosh is the brother of former Miami DT R.J. McIntosh (2014-17 at The U). And in addition to being a good runner http://www.atlantafalconsteamonline.com/andy-levitre-jersey , he is a legitimate threat in the passing game. Miami isn’t sure where it will turn.Other CommitmentsArkansas added a commitment from four-star New Orleans (La.) Edna Karr defensive back Devin Bush. DecommitmentsNo big ones this week. QuicklyMichigan has a big group of visitors in town. Some Ohio State players received recruiting ranking bumps. Here’s a look at what Tennessee is doing on the recruiting trail. Our Alabama site gives its recruiting predictions. Etc.Here are my top bets of the week. It’s been a very strong season for my gambling column. There’s not much new news to report in the Falcons offensive coordinator search, as we already knew the Falcons were kicking the tires on former Seattle Seahawks offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell and former Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Dirk Koetter. However, we know more of the specifics of the search Authentic Alex Mack Jersey , thanks to Ian Rapoport. It’s unclear if Bevell was one of the two coaches interviewed as of this week’s state of the Falcons franchise press conference. We know the team had interviewed Mike Mularkey at that time. There may be a mystery candidate in there that has not been previously reported. Remember there was no mention of Steve Sarkisian until news broke he was signing with the team. There’s no reason to believe Quinn isn’t playing this hire equally close to the vest. It’s been previously reported that Koetter is considering other jobs, suggesting the team may not yet be able to sign him. Bevell is receiving a little bit of interest but would most certainly jump at the chance to coach the Falcons if given an offer. The team either wants toperform their due diligence or Bevell is not their top option.Dan Quinn said he wanted to interview some coaches currently in the playoffs. He previously suggested the playoffs are a detriment for good coaches who are unable to sign deals, suggesting he may wait out the playoffs for the right coach.
