Looks like Corey Clement and Derek Barnett will be back this week The Philadelphia Eagles released their second official injury report on Tuesday in advance of their Week 6 Thursday Night Football game against the New York Giants.Five players did not practice: D.J. Alexander Color Rush Jalen Mills Jersey , Nate Gerry, Corey Graham, Haloti Ngata, and Darren Sproles. Missing Alexander and Gerry would hurt the Eagles’ special teams unit. Graham being out would hurt both special teams and the Eagles’ safety depth since Malcolm Jenkins Youth Jay Ajayi Jersey , Avonte Maddox (who isn’t even a true safety), and Deiondre’ Hall are the only healthy safeties on the 53-man roster. Ngata’s absence leaves the Eagles lighter at defensive tackle. Sproles hasn’t played since Week 1 and it doesn’t look like he’s about to play on Thursday. Two players were limited in practice: Lane Johnson and Carson Wentz. Johnson was also limited in practice during Monday’s walkthrough. Wentz isn’t hurt but the Eagles decided to give him some rest today. Not the worst idea for a guy who has been sacked 12 times and hit 27 times since returning to the lineup. Four players were full participants: Derek Barnett, Corey Clement, Sidney Jones http://www.authenticsphiladelphiaeagles.com/cheap-stefen-wisniewski-jersey , and Jason Peters. Seems like we’ll see Barnett and Clement return to action this week. That’s good news. Barnett further helps the Eagles’ pass rush against a bad Giants offensive line. Clement is obviously a useful backfield contributor who can be counted on in pass protection. Jones went down with an ankle injury against the Vikings but it seems he’ll be ready to play. Peters also seems ready, which is especially crucial if Johnson can’t suit up.The Eagles will release their third and final injury report tomorrow on Wednesday.PHILADELPHIA EAGLES INJURY REPORT (TUESDAY)DID NOT PARTICIPATELB D.J. He’s dealing with a knee issue that caused him to miss practice.Another former Eagle, Russell Shepard Youth Nelson Agholor Jersey , sat out on Tuesday after being limited on Monday. Giants kicker Aldrick Rosas missed practice for the second day in a row. New York added Marshall Koehn to their practice squad in case they need to call him up for Thursday night. There’s been some indication that Evan Engram and Olivier Vernon might be able to return to the lineup this week but both players are still limited in practice so we’ll see how that goes.DID NOT PARTICIPATELB Connor Barwin (knee) K Aldrick Rosas (right quad)WR Russell Shepard (neck)LIMITED PARTICIPATIONTE Rhett Ellison (foot)TE Evan Engram (knee)LB Olivier Vernon (ankle)FULL PARTCIPATIONWR Jawill Davis (shoulder)DL Josh Mauro (groin) Appearing on ESPN Postseason NFL Countdown on Sunday morning, NFL insiders Adam Schefter and Chris Mortensen offered some more information regarding the Philadelphia Eagles’ desire to trade Nick Foles.First, Schefter talked about his report that the Eagles intend to franchise tag Foles:On that note of the Eagles wanting to decide where Foles goes — as opposed to letting him chose his new team in free agency — Mortensen seemed to suggest Philly has a preferred landing spot.Conveniently enough, the Jaguars happen to have two third-round picks in the 2019 NFL Draft after trading Dante Fowler Jr. to the Los Angeles Rams prior to the trade deadline. But just because the Eagles potentially want to send Foles to the AFC South doesn’t mean the feeling mutual in Jacksonville. The Jags definitely need help at quarterback with Blake Bortles clearly not the answer http://www.authenticsphiladelphiaeagles.com/cheap-brandon-brooks-jersey , yes, but it’s not like it HAS to be Foles or bust for them. Tagging and trading Foles is not an impossible task. It can be done. But there are significant road blocks to work through, as BGN’s Benjamin Solak previously noted. The reality is that the Eagles might just have to let Foles walk in free agency. In the meantime, Howie Roseman will do his best to try to drum up a trade market so that doesn’t happen.
