As of Friday, Doug Pederson said he still hadn’t been cleared for contract. With Jeffery out, the Eagles will be without three of their top four wide receivers against the Colts. That leaves Philadelphia with just Nelson Agholor, Kamar Aiken, Shelton Gibson, and Jordan Matthews. Not the most ideal situation for Carson Wentz to return to. Although he won’t play against the Colts, Jeffery being ruled questionable for this week’s game seems to bode well for next week. Corey ClementClement was added to the injury report on Friday afternoon. That was concerning since the Eagles are already so thin at running back. That’s good to hear considering Philadelphia would be without their top three running backs if he didn’t play. Clement deserves to take most of the Eagles’ running back touches with Jay Ajayi and Darren Sproles out. Wendell Smallwood and Josh Adams shouldn’t be heavily relied on.
